Paul McChesney and Trina Rose have been living and working in Spartanburg for more than 30 years. During most of that time, they worked from a house built in the late 1800s in the Barnett Park area. Paul bought the old houses beside and behind the home, more or less by accident, before the downtown property boom.
In recent years, Spartanburg’s downtown area has blossomed with shops, restaurants, apartments, and historic restorations. That’s when McChesney Properties joined in. Terry Hill and Paul’s brother Stan have restored two of their downtown houses into five beautiful apartments with an authentic period look and furnishings. Still, with modern conveniences, each with fantastic views of oak-lined streets and Barnett Park. Each apartment is a short walk from all the restaurants and shops downtown. One of the properties includes a roomy 1960’s style house in the Woodland Heights neighborhood. Trina Rose manages the rentals and will do everything she can to make sure you have a great experience in Downtown Spartanburg. Give her a call, and she can answer any questions you may have.
